ABOUT ME

As Founder & CEO of Wiscrown, I advise companies and institutions on innovation program design, accelerator strategy, and future of work initiatives.

My career spans government, industry, and academia. As an Obama Presidential Appointee, I helped design and manage national workforce and energy initiatives, including the $100M Smart Grid Workforce Development Program, which trained more than 30,000 Americans for jobs modernizing the electrical grid, and the Rural Energy Savings Program (RESP), which expanded financing for energy efficiency upgrades in rural communities.

At MITRE, I established the organization’s first social innovation function and launched MITRE RISE, a 6-month health tech accelerator for early-stage founders historically excluded from traditional pathways. The program provided mentorship, resources, and strategic partnerships to help founders move from concept to MVP and beyond.

My work has been published in the National Institute of Standards & Technology and I’ve had the privilege of leading multidisciplinary teams across government, academia, industry, and community organizations to transform ideas into action. I believe lasting innovation happens in community and for communities and I equip leaders to turn that belief into practice.
